Asphalt Tennis Court Resurfacing

But did you know that Welch Tennis also is a leader in Resurfacing and Refurbishing tennis courts? Besides site visits from our experts and experienced workers this describes the specifications of Hard Court (Tennis Court) Resurfacing:
Court Preparation: Welch Tennis will remove all loose dirt, mildew, oil spots and foreign matter from the courts.
Patching: All areas holding 1/8 inch of water for more than one hour after flooding shall be patched with acrylic patch binder. All patches will be sanded level with the surrounding court area.
Crack Repair: Welch will patch cracks wider than 1/16 inch with acrylic crack filler. All filled cracks will be sanded level with the surrounding court. Cracks may return as that is the nature of asphalt courts.
Acrylic Resurfacer Course: Three coats of resurfacer will be applied over the entire court.
Acrylic Color Course: Welch will apply two coats of multi-purpose color plus silica sand to provide a tough, durable textured playing court surface.
Colors: The customer can choose two colors for resurfacing of each tennis court. U.S. Open Blue on the interior of court is available for a small upcharge.
